Thank you for your interest in the Carolina Exploratory Center for Cheminformatics Research (CECCR).
The mission of the CECCR [see-ker] is to develop and promote the scientific discipline of Cheminformatics. CECCR serves as a research resource in support of the Molecular Libraries Initiative (MLI) as part of the NIH Roadmap. CECCR seeks approaches to facilitate and promote the collaborations between experimental biomedical researchers, molecular modelers, chemoinformaticians, biostatisticians and computational scientists. Our goal is to continuously develop novel methodologies and computational tools for data mining and knowledge discovery in biomolecular databases such as those generated by the Molecular Libraries Screening Center Network (MLSCN) and deposited into PubChem. CECCR has established the C-ChemBench web server that provides the research community with the access to data mining, library design, and virtual screening tools as well as knowledge based biological and physical property predictors. We welcome your comments and thoughts, and invite interested researchers to collaborate with us on advancing the exciting field of Cheminformatics.
CECCR acknowledges the support from the NIH Planning Grant 1P20HG003898.
